I think Columbia is a great city, and I know you and I both strongly care about its future.

When I was first elected to City Council four years ago, I campaigned on a platform of fresh ideas.  We've accomplished much in my first term; however, there is still work to be done.

Below are a few issues I believe are critical to the future of our city:

• Reduce crime and make neighborhoods safe
• Improve the City's accountability of its finances
• Eliminate gangs and street-level crimes
• Invest in the quality of our basic services
• Continue making city government more open to all of our residents
