We did it! Thanks to EVERYONE for your support!

When I first ran for City Council four years ago, my goal was to give back to the community that has been good to me, my family and my businesses.  These past four years have brought both good times and bad times but every day has given me the opportunity to help you - whether it has been to solve a neighborhood problem, help improve a park or simply have your voice heard.

In helping you, you've also helped me continue to realize just how great a city Columbia is.  We have thriving inner-city neighborhoods -  the kind many cities dream of.  Parks are abundant, well kept and well used. Commercial areas are friendly and inviting.  Main Street is again on the rise.  Five Points is back in business and growing at a rate not seen in many years. The Vista continues to impress visitors with its enjoyable restaurants and nightlife. The beauty of our riverfront has been rediscovered, and numerous projects are underway to help all of us enjoy what nature has provided our city.

There are signs of progress all around us. But like every city, we also have our issues.  I'm up to the challenge once again and look forward to dealing with those issues.
